This guy is spawned behind the stairs at the end of the first floor. As seen in the next pic he can use cover very effectively and is hard to get. However, sometimes he would hide behind the stairs. It was possible for a player to miss him, go up the stairs and trigger the checkpoint save, then have him come out and shoot the player in the back. Having a checkpoint save where you are shot from behind and killed is not good, so we scripted him to run into the hallway and be more visible.
