PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Level Designer, TimeGate Studios, Jan. 2006- June 2008.
Worked on three titles: FEAR Extraction Point, FEAR Perseus Mandate, and FEAR Files.


FEAR Files, Jan. 2006. - Oct. 2007: This is the Xbox 360 version of FEAR Extraction Point and FEAR Perseus Mandate.

Level design duties included:
- Prototype new game play features.
- Level design documentation.
- Scripting, combat, decoration, lighting, and construction of levels using the LithTech editor.
- Ensure that level memory use did not exceed the Xbox 360 console limit.


FEAR Perseus Mandate, Oct 2006. - Oct. 2007: Level designer for the PC and XBox 360 versions of this game.

Game levels responsible for were:

Level 10, The Deep
- Imported sections of a level from FEAR: Extraction Point that were used and finished level construction.
- Initial combat, decoration, and lighting.
- Worked with others to polish and finish the level.

Level 16, Showdown
- Initial level construction, lighting, and combat.
- Worked with others finishing the combat, decoration, scripting, and boss fight.


FEAR Extraction Point, Jan. - Sept. 2006: Level designer for the PC version of this game.

PC game levels involved with were:

Level 2, Metastasis
- Responsible for the Church Offices and level end.
- Initial construction, lighting, combat, and scripting.
- Worked with others to polish the results.

Level 3, Ambush
- Initial construction, lighting, decoration, and combat.
- Worked with others to polish the level and implement scripting.

Level 8, The L
- Built the final subway sections of the level.
- Responsible for combat, scripting, and initial lighting and decoration.
- Worked with others to finish lighting and decoration.

Level 12, Epilogue
- Built the level and responsible for all combat, decoration, lighting, and scripting.


GUILDHALL EXPERIENCE

Student of the Guildhall at SMU from 2004-2005.

Level Designer - Assault on a Strider Base (Half-Life 2 Map Pack)
- Design, creation, and scripting for one Half-Life 2 level.
Scripter - Eclipse (Half-Life 2 Mod)
- Responsible for scripting and enemy placement in 3 levels.
- Helped design and test enemy AI.
Level Designer/Scripter - Rum Runner (Heavy Metal FAKK2 Total Conversion)
- Designed and built level 4, the Pirate Cove.
- Responsible for scripting, cinematics, and enemy placement in the Tutorial and Pirate Cove levels.
- Created and imported 17 3ds Max models for the game.
Level Designer - Seek and Destroy (3 Level Heavy Metal FAKK2 Mission)
- Designed and built 3 levels.
- Created and imported 47 3ds Max models for the game.
- Made 11 custom textures and 11 new shaders.
Level Designer - Caldera Runners (Unreal Tournament 2004 Mod)
- Designed and built the Canyon Run level.
- Created and imported 15 3ds Max models for the game.
Level Design/Game Design - Super Frog Forces (2D Scrolling Game Development Kit)
- Designed and built the level for this 2D game.


MOD EXPERIENCE

2002-2003: Mod work for Heavy Metal FAKK2, a 3rd person action game by Ritual Entertainment utilizing the Quake 3 engine.

Activities included:
- Built and released 7 FAKK2 single player levels.
- Helped a student group using the FAKK2 engine for a project at Salford University (Great Britain) create working AI for their game Paradise Fall.
